1. About us
Mantap Math (https://mantapmath.app) is operated by Kaizen Improvement Solution, a business registered in Malaysia.
Our business details are shown in the Operator details box at the bottom of this page.
In these terms, “we” means Kaizen Improvement Solution, and “you” means the parent or legal guardian who uses Mantap Math, lets a child use it, opens an account or buys Premium.
By using Mantap Math, or letting your child use it, whether with an account or as a guest, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Mantap Math.
Children who play as guests should do so with a parent's or guardian's knowledge. The rules in section 13 apply to every user.
If you have a parent account, you accept these terms for yourself and on behalf of each child whose profile you create. You are also responsible for guiding how your child uses Mantap Math.
Our Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of these terms. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
2. Our service
Mantap Math is a maths game for schoolchildren in Malaysia that follows the KSSR syllabus for Tahun 1 to 6 (Year 1 to 6) and the KSSM syllabus for Tingkatan 1 to 5 (Form 1 to 5). At present, Mantap Math includes:
- 68 topics and 506 boss levels, each with 3 difficulty levels: Asas (basic), Sederhana (intermediate) and Mahir (advanced)
- multiple-choice questions, with step-by-step worked solutions when a child gets an answer wrong
- two original modules: JATOR (finger counting) and COFIR (times-table patterns)
- Misi A+: SPM Mathematics (1449) practice sets in the real exam format, with worked-solution schemes, print versions and a classroom projector mode (Premium)
- Misi A+ Classes (Mantap Pro; being opened in stages): teachers give papers or quizzes to pupils who join with a class code; Paper 1 is marked automatically, and Paper 2 is marked by the pupils themselves and then confirmed by the teacher
- Cikgu Mantap, an AI tutor a child can open after getting an answer wrong (see section 11)
- a weekly progress email for parents (switched on automatically; you can turn it off at any time)
- background music and sound, which can be muted
The interface is available in Bahasa Melayu, English and Chinese. Questions and worked solutions in the game are in Bahasa Melayu only; Misi A+ sets are in Bahasa Melayu and English. Cikgu Mantap replies in the chosen interface language.
Mantap Math is a learning aid. It does not replace school, teachers or parents, and we do not promise any particular exam results.
The number of topics and levels may change as we update our content.
3. Accounts, parents and children
Children can play as guests, without an account. Guest progress is saved only in that device's browser and is lost if the browser data is cleared; we cannot recover it.
A guest's answers, results and feedback, and any Cikgu Mantap explanations they request, are stored on our server with a random device ID. We do not ask guests for a name, email or phone number.
Only a person aged 18 or over who is a parent or legal guardian, or a teacher, may open an account. Teacher accounts use the same Parent Area. You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google. Your name and phone number are required; if you sign up with Google, your name is taken from your Google profile.
Pupils who join a Misi A+ Class with a class code do not open an account. The rules for classes are in section 14.
When you sign up, you tick a box confirming that you are aged 18 or over and are a parent or legal guardian, or a teacher, and that you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We record the time of that consent.
Please make sure the information you give us is correct.
Under your account, you can create child profiles with a nickname (up to 40 characters), an optional Tingkatan (Form) and a hero of your child's choice. We suggest using a nickname rather than a full name.
Each account can have up to 8 active child profiles.
Keep your password private, and use a PIN to lock Kawasan Ibu Bapa (Parent Area) so your child cannot change settings or make purchases.
You are responsible for how your account is used, unless a problem is caused by our mistake. Tell us straight away at sokongan@mantapmath.app if you think someone has used your account without permission.
You can archive (hide) a child profile yourself with the Buang (Remove) button in Kawasan Ibu Bapa (Parent Area) → Akaun (Account). Its learning data stays stored until you ask us to delete it by emailing sokongan@mantapmath.app.
To delete your account and all your children's data completely, email us at sokongan@mantapmath.app.
If you ask us to delete your account, we will first cancel any Monthly or Yearly subscription that is still active, so that no further charges are made. Your deletion request counts as a successful cancellation from the date we receive it.
Any remaining Premium time you have paid for, including a 12-month pass, is not refunded. Payment records kept by Stripe are retained as the law requires.
Parents are responsible for supervising their child's use of Mantap Math, including screen time and use of Cikgu Mantap.
5. Plans and prices
Plans on sale: Premium Monthly, Premium 12-month pass, Mantap Pro Monthly and Mantap Pro 12-month pass. Yearly plans taken before 20 October 2026 remain valid as set out below. Each plan covers all the children in your parent account.
- Monthly (Bulanan): RM 4.90 per month. Renews automatically every month until you cancel.
- Yearly (Tahunan): RM 99 per year. Renews automatically every year until you cancel. No longer sold to new customers from 20 October 2026; existing subscriptions continue at their original price.
- 12-month pass (Pas 12 bulan): RM 49, one-off payment. 12 months of Premium with no automatic renewal. Suitable if you want to pay by FPX online banking, where available.
- Mantap Pro Monthly: RM 9.90 a month. Renews automatically every month until you cancel it.
- Mantap Pro Yearly: RM 199 a year. Renews automatically every year until you cancel it. No longer sold to new customers from 20 October 2026; existing subscriptions continue at their original price.
- Mantap Pro 12-month pass: RM 99, one-off payment. 12 months of Mantap Pro with no automatic renewal. You can pay by card or FPX online banking, where available.
If your current Premium comes from a 12-month pass, a new pass you buy is added after your current end date, so you lose no days. A Premium pass holder can upgrade by buying a Mantap Pro pass: Mantap Pro opens straight away and the new 12 months are added after your current end date. An active Mantap Pro pass can only be extended with another Mantap Pro pass. You can subscribe to a Monthly plan once your pass has ended.
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). The amount shown on the Stripe payment page before you confirm payment is the full amount we charge; we add no other charges. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees.
6. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe through Stripe Checkout. Mantap Math never sees or stores your card number.
You can pay by debit or credit card, or other methods Stripe shows at checkout, such as FPX for the 12-month pass where available.
Before you pay, check the plan and amount on the Stripe payment page. If you picked the wrong plan, go back to the Premium page without paying and choose again.
Premium starts as soon as Stripe confirms your payment, usually within seconds. If your status has not changed, reload the page or email us at sokongan@mantapmath.app.
Receipts and invoices for every plan, including the 12-month pass, can be viewed in the Stripe customer portal through Kawasan Ibu Bapa (Parent Area) → Akaun (Account) → Urus Premium (Manage Premium) → Urus langganan · resit · tukar kad (Manage subscription · receipts · change card), where you can also change your card. After Premium has ended, use the Lihat resit lama (View past receipts) link on the Premium page. If you still cannot find a receipt, email sokongan@mantapmath.app and we will send you a copy.
7. Automatic renewal
Monthly plans (Premium and Mantap Pro), and existing Yearly plans, renew automatically. At the start of each new billing period, we charge your saved payment method through Stripe until you cancel.
By choosing a Monthly or Yearly plan (Premium or Mantap Pro), you authorise us, through Stripe, to make these recurring charges.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it and Premium stays active during the retry period. If the payment still fails in the end, the subscription ends and your account returns to the free plan. Your children's profiles and progress records stay in the account.
The 12-month pass (Premium or Mantap Pro) does not renew automatically. It simply ends after 12 months unless you buy a new pass.
To prevent double charges, while Premium from a Monthly or Yearly plan (Premium or Mantap Pro) is still running, including after cancellation until its end date, you cannot buy another plan, including the 12-month pass. If you change your mind after cancelling, select Renew subscription in the Stripe portal. Once Premium has ended, you can subscribe again at any time.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel a Monthly or Yearly subscription (Premium or Mantap Pro) at any time: Kawasan Ibu Bapa (Parent Area) → Akaun (Account) → Urus Premium (Manage Premium) → Urus langganan · resit · tukar kad (Manage subscription · receipts · change card) → Cancel subscription in the Stripe portal, then confirm.
The Stripe portal may show button labels in another language, depending on your browser settings. Step-by-step instructions are in section 3 of our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Once cancelled, there are no further charges and Premium stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. The Premium page then shows “Langganan dibatalkan. Premium kekal hingga” (Subscription cancelled. Premium remains until) followed by the end date. After that date, your account returns to the free plan; your children's profiles and progress records stay in the account.
Changed your mind? Before the end date, select Renew subscription in the same portal. You will not be charged until the original renewal date.
Stopping using Mantap Math or archiving a child profile does not cancel your subscription.
If you cannot cancel through the portal (for example, you cannot sign in), email sokongan@mantapmath.app from your account email and ask us to cancel. We will cancel it for you. Your request counts as a successful cancellation from the date we receive your email.
9. Refunds
We do not give refunds, including for partly used periods and for the 12-month pass, except in the three situations below or where the law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, gives you a right to a refund.
Cancelling stops future charges, but does not return payments already made.
We fully refund the affected charge if:
- Duplicate charge: you were charged more than once for the same period.
- Charge after cancellation: you were charged after successfully cancelling your subscription, either in the Stripe portal or by email (see section 8).
- Error on our side: the charge was caused by a technical or billing error on our side.
To ask for a refund, email sokongan@mantapmath.app with your parent account email, the date of the charge and the amount charged. We will reply within 3 working days.
Approved refunds are returned through Stripe to your original payment method and may take 5 to 10 working days to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Please contact us at sokongan@mantapmath.app first, before raising a dispute or chargeback with your bank. This request does not take away your right to contact your bank.
These terms do not affect your rights as a consumer under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999, which cannot be excluded by agreement. If any part of these terms conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights apply.
Full details are in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. If this summary differs from that policy, the policy applies.
10. Price changes
We may change our prices from time to time. New purchases are charged at the price shown when you pay.
If you are an existing subscriber, we will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies at your next renewal. You can cancel before the new price applies, and you will not be charged the new price.
The price you have already paid for your current period, including a 12-month pass, does not change.
11. Cikgu Mantap (AI tutor)
Cikgu Mantap is an AI tutor that a child can open with the “Ask Cikgu Mantap: why was I wrong?” button after getting an answer wrong. It explains the question step by step. A child playing with a profile in a parent account can also type follow-up questions; guests can only request this explanation and cannot type.
Cikgu Mantap is powered by Anthropic's Claude model through the Anthropic API. Anthropic is in the United States.
AI can make mistakes. That is why the Cikgu Mantap panel is labelled “AI tutor · can make mistakes”. It is a learning aid, not a replacement for a teacher or parent; if in doubt, check the worked solution in the game or ask a teacher.
Children should not type their name, school or other personal details into Cikgu Mantap, and the panel reminds them of this. Please remind your child too.
Guests and free accounts get a limited number of questions each day, and Premium gets more. The Premium limit applies when a child plays using a child profile in a Premium account. There is also a limit on messages per question, and a per-IP-address limit for guests.
We may adjust these limits, but we will not reduce Premium Cikgu Mantap limits during a period you have already paid for.
With each message, we store a salted one-way hash of the IP address, used to enforce usage limits and detect misuse.
Cikgu Mantap messages are stored and sent to Anthropic in the United States to generate replies, as explained in our Privacy Policy. For guests, only the question and the chosen answer are sent, because guests cannot type messages.
12. Accuracy of content
Questions are generated by software from templates and checked automatically. Even so, questions, answers or worked solutions may still contain mistakes.
Misi A+ sets are original Mantap Math questions reviewed by SPM Mathematics teachers. Their schemes are our suggested schemes, not official Lembaga Peperiksaan schemes, and the sets are not predicted exam questions.
Marks in Misi A+ Classes are practice marks. Paper 1 is marked against our answer key. Paper 2 marks are the pupil's own ticks against our suggested scheme until the teacher confirms them. These marks are not official exam results, and the teacher is responsible for how they are used in school assessment.
If you spot a mistake, send feedback after the game or email us at sokongan@mantapmath.app, and we will look into it.
Mantap Math is organised around the KSSR and KSSM syllabus, but it is not an official product of the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
13. Acceptable use
Mantap Math may be used for personal and family learning. The rules in this section apply to every user, including guests.
Misi A+ in class. If you are a Premium subscriber who teaches, you may print, copy and project Misi A+ sets, and (on Mantap Pro) papers and quizzes from the Misi A+ generators and give them as assignments in Misi A+ Classes, for pupils you teach yourself, free of charge to those pupils. You may not sell copies, upload them to the internet or a sharing platform, or use them in a tuition centre or paid class without our written permission.
You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- copy, bulk-download, sell or redistribute questions, worked solutions or other content, except using Misi A+ in class as described above
- use bots, scripts or other automated tools to access or scrape content
- try to get around the Premium lock, daily limits, the PIN or other security features
- try to hack, disrupt or overload our systems
- use Cikgu Mantap for anything other than learning, or try to make it produce harmful or inappropriate content
- send abusive, obscene, threatening or unlawful content through feedback or Cikgu Mantap
- enter other people's personal information without their permission
- sell, rent out or transfer access to your account to anyone else
- use Mantap Math for commercial purposes without our written permission
- use Mantap Math in any way that breaks Malaysian law
14. Misi A+ Classes and teachers' responsibilities
Misi A+ Classes are provided to Mantap Pro subscribers and teachers in our pilot programme, and are being opened in stages. Teachers create a class, share the class code with pupils, and give assignments from Misi A+. Pupils do not open an account.
Each time you create a class, you confirm and agree that:
- you teach the pupils in that class and have your school's permission (or the pupils' parents' or guardians', for a class outside school) to use Mantap Math with them
- you will tell the pupils and their parents or guardians what data is kept, for example with the notice we provide
- you will ask pupils to use a nickname, and change or remove names that contain personal details or are inappropriate
- you will keep the class code from outsiders, close the class to new joins once your pupils are in, and remove pupils who are no longer in your class
- you will check Paper 2 marks that pupils mark themselves before confirming them
- you are responsible for any marks files you download and how you keep them
- you will sign out of Mantap Math on computers shared with pupils after using classes
- if we tell you about a data breach affecting your class, you will tell the pupils and their parents or guardians
- for now, classes are used only for secondary school pupils (Tingkatan 1 to 5)
Current limits: 15 active classes per teacher and 60 pupils per class. We may change these limits.
If your Mantap Pro plan ends, your classes become read-only: you can still see and confirm marks, download marks and delete data, but you cannot create new classes or assignments. If the plan is not renewed, the classes are ended 180 days after the plan ends and deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
Pupils in a class are also bound by section 13. We may close a class or remove pupils if a class is misused.
15. Intellectual property
All Mantap Math content, including questions, question templates, worked solutions, the JATOR and COFIR modules, characters, graphics, music, sounds, software, and the Mantap Math name and logo, belongs to Kaizen Improvement Solution or its licensors.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Mantap Math for personal and family learning and (for Premium subscribers) to use Misi A+ with pupils you teach as set out in section 13, including in Misi A+ Classes for Mantap Pro subscribers and pilot teachers, as long as you follow these terms. Use by a whole school needs a separate agreement with us. No other rights pass to you.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Mantap Math without paying you.
16. Service availability
We work to keep Mantap Math running, but we cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions or errors. The service may be interrupted during maintenance or updates, or when a service provider we use, such as for hosting, payments or AI, has an outage.
You need an internet connection to use Mantap Math, and you are responsible for the cost of your own device and internet data.
We may add, change or remove features and content. We will not reduce Premium benefits during a period you have already paid for.
Our no-refund rule does not limit your legal rights if we close Mantap Math permanently, or end your account for a reason other than your breach of the Terms of Service, before the Premium period you have paid for ends.
17. Limitation of liability
We will provide Mantap Math with reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits:
- any liability we have that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including the guarantees under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 and our duties under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA)
- our liability for fraud
- our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence
Subject to the points above, we are not responsible for:
- losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when you started using Mantap Math
- interruptions or losses caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as general internet outages or faults with your device
- loss of guest progress when browser data is cleared
- losses caused by you breaking these terms or not keeping your password or PIN private
- any particular exam result or academic achievement
If an outage at a service provider we use makes Premium unavailable for a long period, your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 still apply.
18. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Mantap Math at any time. To stop being charged, cancel your subscription (see section 8); to delete your account, email sokongan@mantapmath.app.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, misuse the service, or if the law requires it. If a teacher's account is suspended, their Misi A+ Classes are suspended too. Except in urgent cases, we will try to tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.
If an account is ended because you seriously or repeatedly broke these terms, payment for the remaining period is not refunded, subject to your legal rights.
If we end your account for any other reason, for example because the law requires it, your rights are explained in section 16. Account data is handled as explained in our Privacy Policy.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at sokongan@mantapmath.app; we will try to sort it out amicably.
You may also file a claim with the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia, TTPM) or take the matter to the courts of Malaysia. Nothing in these terms stops you from doing so.
20. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always shown on this page with its effective date.
For important changes, we will email parents who have accounts before the changes take effect. Changes do not affect your rights relating to payments made before the change takes effect, and do not reduce Premium benefits during a period you have already paid for.
If you keep using Mantap Math after the changes take effect, you are taken to agree to the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using Mantap Math and cancel your subscription.
This version applies from 22 September 2026.
21. Language
These terms are provided in Bahasa Melayu and English. If the two versions conflict, the Bahasa Melayu version prevails. Users who choose the Chinese interface are shown the English version.
22. Contact us
